Privacy policy

How Edarrow handles family information.

This policy explains the information Edarrow processes to create and deliver a college fit report, how that information is used, and the choices available to families.

Information Edarrow processes

Edarrow processes purchaser contact information; the student profile supplied by the family, including academic context, interests, college preferences, budget, and borrowing comfort; referral codes; order and report status; support communications; and limited technical logs needed to operate and protect the service.

Payment-card information is entered into Stripe’s checkout experience. Edarrow receives transaction status and related order information, not the full payment-card number.

How information is used

Information is used to create, review, deliver, and support the report; manage secure report access; process purchases; respond to questions and privacy requests; maintain service reliability and security; prevent abuse; and meet legal obligations.

Service providers and public data

Edarrow uses service providers for functions such as cloud hosting, payment processing, and transactional email. They process information for those services under their own contractual and security obligations. College comparisons also use published institutional and labor-market data described in the methodology.

Website measurement

Edarrow may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and the steps visitors complete before checkout. This measurement can receive page and action information, browser and device details, approximate location, and browser identifiers. Edarrow does not deliberately send student profile field values, names, email addresses, or payment-card details to analytics. Browser privacy controls and content blockers may limit this measurement.

Retention and security

Edarrow retains information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain transaction and security records, resolve disputes, and comply with law. Retention can vary by record type. Edarrow uses administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Students and children

The service is designed for use by families supporting a high school student. The purchasing adult is responsible for providing information with appropriate authority and family consent. Edarrow is not intended for children under 13 to use independently.

Your choices and requests

Depending on applicable law and the request, families may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information. Requests can be made through report privacy controls or by emailing support. Edarrow may verify identity and retain records that must be kept for security, transactions, or legal compliance.

Policy changes

Edarrow may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date on this page will be updated when material changes are published.
