Under ConstructionSome of what follows describes reports we are still building. The Admissions Report is not available yet, the Single School and Financial Aid reports cannot be purchased while their checkout is updated, and Target Reports produced today return nine schools rather than ten.

What is Edarrow?
We’re an independent college-planning service for families. A free tracker and focused reports. Not a college, a ranking, or a placement service.
Who is Edarrow for?
U.S. college-bound students and their families who want a clear plan, or real analysis of fit, cost, programs, or aid.
Do colleges pay us?
No. The tracker is free and families fund optional reports. Colleges cannot pay to appear or influence the analysis.
Do you sell student or family data?
No. We don’t sell your information or hand it to colleges for lead generation. The Privacy Policy explains how we use it.
Free College Tracker
What do you offer for free?
A workbook with 47 tasks across five stages, milestones, source links, and a 10-school planning matrix.
Is a credit card required for the free tracker?
No. Enter and verify your email to receive it. There is no student intake, card, checkout, or subscription.
Can I use the tracker in Google Sheets or Excel?
Download an Excel workbook. A Sheets export isn’t available yet.
Does the free tracker recommend colleges?
No. It organizes your tasks and research. Recommendations and analysis come with a paid report.
Why does the free tracker require email verification?
Verification confirms that we are delivering the tracker to the right address. It is transactional and does not enroll you in marketing.
Target Report
What is included in the Target Report?
Ten schools — two reach, five target, three likely — up to three named by you, each analyzed against all four questions. Interactive report plus PDF. Five revisions for a year.
How do you evaluate colleges?
We compare your student’s profile against what each school reports, holding the four questions separate. The methodology explains every input. Read the full methodology.
How do you make your reasoning visible?
The four questions stay separate, and every number links to where it came from.
Do you guarantee admission, aid, or career outcomes?
No. Reports are decision support—not admission, aid, cost, or career guarantees.
Profile, price, and delivery
How long does the student profile take?
About 15 minutes. It covers academics, interests, campus preferences, budget, and borrowing comfort.
Do I need a student profile for the free tracker?
No. The full student profile is only required when you want a report. The free tracker only requires a verified email address.
How much does Edarrow cost?
The tracker is free. One-time reports: $49 for one school, $99 for a major, budget or admissions scan, $149 for financial aid, $349 for the Target Report.
When will the report arrive?
Paid reports are typically delivered within 48 hours after purchase and quality checks. Complex data issues can take longer.
How do counselor referral codes work?
Enter an eligible code at checkout. Any price adjustment appears before payment.
Data and privacy
Which public data sources do you use?
IPEDS, College Scorecard, and BLS Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics. Reports show source dates and missing values.
Why can published college numbers differ?
Sources can use different years, student groups, program levels, and definitions.
Is average net price our expected bill?
No. It is group-level context. Use the college’s calculator for an estimate and its aid offer for the family-specific amount.
How can we request access, correction, or deletion?
Use the report privacy controls, or email support@getedarrow.com. The Privacy Policy explains available requests.
